If you're an inexperienced player, start with some practice in Training mode where you can check the moves of all characters. If you like team fights, you'll find here a few different modes in which up to 4 characters fight in 2-versus-2 battles. In Versus mode, you can challenge your friend and check out which of you is a better fighter. The classic Arcade mode allows you to test your skills with random opponents controlled by computer AI. All popular game modes are here and still work very well.
You'll also find here more special attacks and other mechanics that we couldn't experience in games from Nintendo's and Sega's consoles. The combat system is more dynamic than those known from the above games, and the list of moves of individual characters has been significantly increased.
Dragon Ball Z Mugen Edition 2 includes over 35 characters and many stages known from such games as Dragon Ball Z Super Butōden (all parts), Dragon Ball Z Hyper Dimension, and Dragon Ball Z Buyū Retsuden.
